YET4H supports 5 Early Career Researchers to undertake Rechearch under the Digital
Health Fellowship Programme
Since 2020, YET4H has worked to connect young experts in digital health with global conversations about digital health investment, design, and responsible governance. The Digital Health Fellowship for Early Career Researchers programme builds on this work by supporting academic researchers in the digital health space with connections, resources, and mentorship.
The general objectives of the Digital Health Fellowship for Early Career Researchers are:
- To push for a digital health agenda that protects and promotes human rights both by designing rights-centric interventions, actively identifying potential harms, and designing governance models to prevent such harm.
- To promote increased scholarship and research agendas on digital health across disciplines and in diverse research institutions.
- To increase access to governance discussions for early career researchers to ensure digital health governance discussions benefit from their research and experience.
- To champion the contributions of early career researchers from underrepresented peoples and communities to ensure the broader field is more representative of potential digital health users.
- To connect early career researchers across disciplines in a cohort setting.
